Podcasts are making a comeback. I’m so excited to introduce my latest project–my very own podcast “With Sam & Marie”! Okay, don’t get too excited. It’s not something I’m pursuing very seriously–at least not right now. This was just an idea a friend and I came up with about a year ago as a way to share our hilarious conversations with anyone willing to listen. That’s even where we got the idea for our podcast name–when you listen, it’s like you’re having a conversation with us! Even though it’s mostly just a hobby, my business and marketing mind still wants as many people to listen to it as possible. And that’s why I’m sharing it will all of you!
The clip below is from an episode Marie–the other half of the Podcast Girls (listen to the clip and you’ll get it)–and I recorded at the beginning of this year. It’s a little dated, but it’s probably one of my favorite ones that we’ve done. I think it’s because it has the most heart and genuine moments of our everyday interactions with one another. And when something is that realistic, it’s amazing to have gotten it recorded.
Because this was all just for fun, try not to critique us too harshly (although, I promise to pass anything on to Marie if you really think she needs it; just kidding). Listen closely and you can here me typing some notes on my laptop! Please excuse my monotone voice in the beginning–I’m just nervous, I swear it gets better! And of course no podcast is complete without messing up words, saying “like” five times in one sentence, and awkward laughs.

Should I take up podcasting? Or maybe stick with my day job? Marie and I had a lot of fun messing around with this, and we hope you had as much fun listening to it as we had making it!
