New Year, New Blog

I literally have no words. Well, that’s obviously not true, because you wouldn’t be reading this if it were. The second half of 2018 was a lot more difficult than I expected it to be. I found myself so incredibly burnt out while still trying to take on new projects and everything I had already committed to started falling to the wayside—including this blog.

I’ve never been a big New Year’s Resolutions person, but I did take some time to evaluate the direction I wanted to go with this blog. I’m really excited about some of the changes I’m making, and I think they’re going to make it easier for me to really dedicate time to something I started from pure passion and drive.

A lot of the changes I’m making are strictly with scheduling. Blog posts are now going to be released every Sunday night at 10 pm CST. It’s a different date and a much later time than the previous year, but it’s really going to help me actually get stuff out to you guys on time—which we all know was kind of a problem in 2018.

The Coffee Crawl Series is also making a comeback—every first Sunday night at 10 pm CST, staring in April. Along with it I’m also going to be reviving the DIY page on the site. Every third Sunday at 10 pm CST starting in April, a new DIY project will be posted to samanthasabio. Last addition—I’ve started an exciting new project with one of my close friends and I’m looking at sharing it to the blog. Hint: it may have something to do with podcasts… “With Sam & Marie” is set to launch–you guessed it–in April, so keep an eye out for it!

I know this sounds like I might be taking on much too much—a problem I’m no stranger to—but I’m much more driven to create this content for you and I really think that’s going to make such a big difference in this coming year.

I’m incredibly hopeful for 2019 and all of the new projects I’m working on. What about you—what are you looking forward to in 2019? Let me know in the comments section below, and come back next Sunday night for another post to the blog!
