Spring Break Ideas

Spring Break is coming up! Or it’s already happened for you… Sorry if I’m late, maybe next year? Anyway, if you’re still looking for something to do this Spring Break, I’ve got you covered. As a student I totally understand living on that Ramen kind of budget. We don’t all have the resources to take a trip to Vail or Brussels (ooops, sorry again). But that doesn’t mean you can’t still have a rockin’ Spring Break! So to get you started, here are my five go-to Spring Break Ideas! (Oh and peep the photo above for a sneak peak at my Spring Break…and quite possibly the first photo you’ve ever seen of me)!

Roadtrip

One of the first things I think of when I think of a last-minute vacation on a budget is taking a road trip. Roadtrips can be however long you want them to be, which means finding a place to stay the night isn’t always an issue. They also don’t take too much planning. Call up some friends and pick a city you’ve always wanted to go to. Or grab a cooler and a volleyball and head down to the nearest beach. If you have good playlist you don’t even have to wait until you get to where you’re wanting to go before you have a good time!

Skydiving Simulation

Not everybody is keen on jumping out of a perfectly good plane 12,000 feet up in the air. But with a skydiving simulation, you can experience the thrill of the activity without the fear of falling. Plus, it’s slightly cheeper than actually skydiving.

An Outdoor Adventure

The wilderness is the limit. Seriously, hiking, fishing, camping, and more make for a great vacation for any outdoor-sy person with a budget. Plus with the weather getting warmer, you might be able to sneak a swim in a lake or stay up singing songs by the campfire.

Big Production

For all you artistic folks out there, this Spring Break is your time to work on your newest project. Re-decorate your room, or gather your friends and make a music video to your favorite song. This is an easy way to productively fill a day without it seeming like your Spring Break is becoming about doing work. And if you do end up starting a YouTube channel or something, send me the link so I can support you in this endeavor!

Home Sweet Home

Staying at home during Spring Break is so underrated. And I know it might seem like I don’t really have room to talk, but sometimes you just need a break. Sleep in until noon, get a tan in your backyard, catch up on your favorite blog! Take this time to really care for yourself that way when classes roll back around you’ll be re-energized and ready to take them on!

I hope some of my ideas were helpful for you in finding different fun and unique ways to spend your Spring Break! Share your Spring Break stories with me in the comments section below, and stay tuned for my updates from Belgium!
