Writing is hard. Getting people to read your work is even harder. As a student and someone who hasn’t been in this world for too long, I think there are different road blocks I face when it comes to blogging- one of the obvious ones being establishing a following.
I’m not the only one publishing this kind of material out there. And in the spirit of spreading the creativity, I wanted to take a moment and share a few blogs I read that were created by friends and students just like me.
Cuppa’ Chic
Need a new fashion and lifestyle blog to follow? Then Cuppa’ Chic is for you! Easy to read and filled with bright photos, the adorable Janki Patel really emulates a young style icon. She knows exactly how to break your fashion funk and even links all the products at the bottom of her posts for your convenience. Make sure to check her out!
Jade Is Write
Jade started her blog after realizing one of the most important truths about going to college- it’s hard! So she compiled a list of tips and tricks of everything from how to utilize your study space to things to have during sorority recruitment. Head on over to her site and see if you can find something to relate to!
XOXO, Sierra
In addition to sharing her travel experiences and beauty tips, as a woman of God Sierra also focuses on bringing love and positivity to her blog. She grows in her mistakes, not preaching but simply sharing what she’s learned. Her insight is inspiring to me, and hopefully you’ll get something out of it too!
I also wanted to share with you a short list of a couple more blogs from people who have turned their love of words into a lifestyle.
Cupcakes and Cashmere
Hello Fashion
Pinch of Yum
Victoria Storm at vicstorya.com
Now these are just a few blogs I’ve kept up with over the past year, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t more out there. Ask your friends or classmates if they have any suggestions! Help spread the word!
Of course if none of these blogs fit your interests, don’t give up! There is so much more reading material out there. Let me know in the comments section if there are any blogs you think I would enjoying checking out!
