With Valentine’s Day just two weeks away, I thought it would only be fitting to share one of my favorite love poems from Poems About You. Granted, I may be a little biased, but it’s hard to go wrong with any of the poems in that collection. They’re all centered around themes of love, which is perfect for the upcoming holiday. Check it out on Amazon!
Your mouth is full of fireworks
and New Year’s Eve is my favorite holiday.
This, feels like
breathing underwater or
driving with the windows down.
I live for pillow fights on lazy Sunday mornings,
spilled feather fluff
dancing to the sound of our laughter.
Catch the lightning in my eyes
with your workman’s hands.
I’ll keep your blush safe in my pocket.
